Week 10 was the return game between FC Dordrecht and Dikeside, with Dikeside being in form lately and FCD off-form it could have been a real thriller.
It was obvious after 10 minutes that FCD wasnt gonna let Dikeside beat them as it was a 5-1 in this short period. They closed the halftime of with 7-1 with some good saves from our Pizzaman Pork. The 2nd half started where the 1st one ended with fcd scoring goal after goal. Dike was shocked and didnt get much input in 2nd half.
In week 11 FCD faced IRK to defend their leading position after GP drawed in week 10. The first half was a quest for both teams finding the goal with FCD having the upperhand on the amount of chances. The teams went to the lockerroom with the score 2-1 on the board.
In the 2nd half it looked like the trainer of FCD raged against his team because it was a total different result and FCD finally got their nose for the goal back as it poured goals in late 2nd half. The endscore 12-4 is a secure victory for the current rank leaders.
Dikeside was matched up against FN in what proven to be a close battle. Both teams fought hard as haltime score ended up with being 3-2 to FN.
2nd half was as thrilling as the first with both teams creating chances and shots on goal. It was however FN whom showed good composure in the back and finished the match off with 2 late goals goving them the victory they needed. Dike fought well and are sure to make some suprises in the following weeks.
